WHAT TO EXPECT
Yakoun Lake is located in a remote area and accessed by travelling on logging roads from Daajing Giids / Queen Charlotte. On our way to the lake we will visit one of the largest sitka spruce trees registered in BC. We will then hike 20 minutes along Bellis Trail through ancient rainforest to the pristine beach of Yakoun Lake. The trail is fairly flat, with some boardwalks and tumbling tree roots. A catered picnic lunch will be shared on the beach. Visitors may wish to swim in this mountain fed lake.

The weather in this area is variable, so please make sure that you are prepared and will be comfortable.
